Barbara A.F. Greene, equity owner of leading global talent management services provider Career Partners International, was one of five executives selected by the San Antonio Area Foundation to offer exclusive training and coaching to nonprofit CEO’s/Executive Directors on the importance of succession planning to organizational success.
Hosted by the San Antonio Area Foundation, the “Succession Planning Matters” program brings a cohort of up to 15 CEO’s/Executive Directors together to learn how to weave succession into organizational planning. Through an interactive combination of cohort learning sessions and small group coaching opportunities, participants will understand the importance and apply techniques that integrate succession planning into an organization’s overall business plan for sustainable success.
“Nonprofit executives face budget constraints that normally restrict their access to valuable leader development programs,” commented Greene who has been coaching executives in the public, private and nonprofit sectors for many years. “Through the San Antonio Area Foundation, these executives can develop critical leadership and succession planning skills in an affordable manner to ensure the futures of their organizations.”
Greene is a leading executive coach and talent management expert in the San Antonio area who regularly gives back to her community. She was co-chair of the Texas Diversity Council Women’s Leadership Symposium in 2011 and 2012, and served as the 2014 Symposium Moderator. Barbara is currently involved in the United Way Master Leadership Program, and serves on the San Antonio LightHouse for the Blind Advisory Council.
“Barbara’s innate ability to communicate and relate to leaders enables her to assist those individuals in unlocking their full leadership potential,” commented David P. Hemmer, President and CEO of Career Partners International. “I have the utmost respect for her and her commitment to give back to her community by sharing her expertise with others.”
The “Succession Planning Matters” program is being offered by The San Antonio Area Foundation at $1,495 per executive, a fraction of the fees typically charged for such an experience. A limited number of partial scholarships may also be available. Additional information as well as applications can be found online through the San Antonio Area Foundation website http://www.saafdn.org/. The deadline to apply is March 2, 2015.
