Career Partners International firm Wilcox Miller & Nelson is pleased to announce that Ms. Diane D. Miller, President and CEO, will be joining the California Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Committee in 2016. A board member since 2003, Ms. Miller currently acts as Vice Chair of the Chamber’s PAC fundraising committee and serves on the Audit Committee as well. The California Chamber of Commerce (CalChamber) is a business advocate and HR compliance resource for California employers.
Ms. Miller noted, “I am honored to be joining the Executive Committee of the leading business advocacy organization in California. As the ‘bellwether’ state, our work takes on additional importance. And as the 2001 Chair of the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s board, I have seen first-hand the value of Chamber memberships and of the work they do; at all levels.”
CalChamber’s more than 13,000 members are a diverse group, ranging from companies such as Microsoft and the Walt Disney Corporation to local companies with a handful of employees. CalChamber’s mission is “to serve as an advocate and resource for California employers and to engage in other activities, domestically and internationally, that enhance the California economy and make the state a better place to live, work and do business.”
